Full-Time Roles:
Responsible for the IT disciplines of program management, technical support, systems administration, network administration, cybersecurity, data administration, and other areas of Information Technology operations. The IT Manager supervises key partners and relationships related to these functions and acts as the primary IT Solution Architect. The position oversees budgetary requirements, implementation, development, maintenance, and life-cycle management of technology solutions for effective ministry and develops team members and volunteers. The position also oversees system uptime and reliability creating a proactive technology posture for Shepherd. Must have a bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field, a strong understanding of various IT systems, technologies, and software development processes. Familiar with networking, infrastructure, security, databases, programming languages, and project management methodologies. Also, possess excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and other departments within the organization.
Responsible to help oversee and coordinate the day-to-day maintenance and operations for all buildings and grounds. 5+ years of facilities management experience preferred a Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering discipline preferred, and certification in related fields of expertise a plus.
Responsible to plan, coordinate and execute all special projects ranging from building repairs to new construction.
Provide excellent and timely care of the facility. Must be available to work nights and weekends. Non-Exempt.
As a Social Media/Communications Assistant, you will assist in developing, implementing and maintaining a social media strategy to engage, inspire and inform our online community. You will be responsible for managing various social media platforms, creating compelling content and fostering a positive online presence. You must have experience in the professional use of Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X and Spotify. The Social Media Assistant must be organized and have excellent communication skills. You will also be expected to show a desire to maintain and develop a path forward for the digital community of Shepherd Church. As the Communications Assistant, you will work with the Communications Manager and offer support with recurring communications tasks. This position is mainly a weekday/office hours position but must be flexible to capture content during some evenings/weekends.
Part-Time Roles:
Provide excellent and timely care of the facility. Must be available to work nights and weekends. Non-Exempt.
Responsible for serving all products and providing friendly and individualized attention towards each customer. Must have prior work experience with customer service in a food or retail setting. Non-Exempt. Must be available to work weekends.
Assist with the creation, coordination, and execution of campus experiences. Responsible for recruiting and caring for volunteers, administering and tracking weekend information, and overseeing the guest experience. Non-Exempt. Must be available to work weekends.
Champion and coordinate Life Groups at our Simi Valley campus. Responsible for recruiting, training, and encouraging our Life Group Leaders and assisting with the organization and administration of Life Groups. Non-Exempt. Must be available to work weekends.
Assist with the creation, coordination, and execution of Simi Valley special events and campus experiences. Responsible for the organization and project management of events and strong communication between ministries and campuses. Non-Exempt. Must be available to work weekends.
The Connections Team Member will be the first point of contact for new families on campus, specifically at Shepherd Kids. They will primarily serve to create a welcoming environment and guest experience during the weekend services and Shepherd Kids events. Must be available to work weekends.
